Resident Evil (2002)

I technically beat Resident Evil 1 remake last night. I say technically because I used a guide, which I don’t ever really do. I’ve given it the old college try several times, the farthest I’ve ever made it on my own was Lisa Trevor. But at this point I just wanted to have it under my belt, say that I’m done with it. I wanna love it, I really enjoy it’s atmosphere and it’s still an incredible looking game, considering it came out 2004. It’s just too much of a labyrinth, and the map doesn’t mark what doors need what keys which is super annoying. It asks so much of the player, it feels like a game you’d have to perfect to really enjoy. Now that I’m more familiar with the layout, I might go through it again. Mostly because I feel off about beating it that way. But I think I’m gonna play 0 first. No guide of course. I haven’t really ever given 0 my full attention before.
